The Challenge

Finserve Bank's legacy monolithic core banking system was built in 2008. Transaction processing took 8-12 seconds per operation, the system went offline for 4 hours every night for batch processing, and the codebase was too fragile to add new digital products. The bank was losing enterprise clients to more agile competitors.

Our Solution

We designed and built a cloud-native microservices architecture on AWS. Transaction processing, account management, and reporting were extracted into independent services. We implemented an event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka to handle real-time transaction streams. The nightly batch window was eliminated entirely.
